Wedding Fitness Trainer

Hello everyone! My name is Holly and I’m excited to be part of the training team at Bells and Barbells!

My fitness journey really began when I was about 2 years old after being diagnosed with a very mild form of cerebral palsy. It’s a condition I was born with however it wasn’t detected until a couple of years later at which time I began physical therapy and continued well into my teenage years.

It wasn’t until I started college at 17 that I really started getting into weight training and seeing the incredible results that came from pushing your body beyond what you tell yourself is possible. It was at this time that I decided to switch my major from Physical Therapy to Exercise Science. It’s become a dream of mine to help improve the quality of life of others like myself and anyone who thinks they aren’t capable of making great changes!

After completing an internship at a facility in Tulsa, OK that specializes in personal training and group fitness classes for disabled individuals, I graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science in December 2019 at Arkansas State University . In January 2020 I was accepted into another internship program at the Adaptive Training Foundation where I learned incredible functional and strength training techniques that I feel give me an edge as a trainer and I am very excited to bring my perspective and experiences to the Bells and Barbells team!

A couple of fun facts about myself, I’m a proud dog mom to 2 fur babies and I really enjoy spending time with them exploring new places and I’m a huge movie buff so don’t be surprised if you hear a random quote every now and then! Also, I was successful in losing 90lbs over the course of a year in 2015! I’d be delighted to teach you my secrets!!
