Wedding Fitness Coach

I recently made the move from Austin to Dallas after spending 11 years down in Texas’ weirdest city.  I attended The University of Texas, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology in 2009. HOOK EM HORNS!  I obtained my Master’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in coaching from Texas Woman’s University in 2012.  Soon thereafter, I began training with Lifetime Fitness in north Austin and eventually set out on my own as an independent trainer.

Tons of research about up and coming trends in fitness brought me to Bells and Barbells Wedding Fitness. I really enjoy transformation/weight loss training and showing people what their bodies are capable of versus further emphasizing a bad body image mantra of shaming themselves for things they struggle with.  No one is perfect!

I have a super sweet pup named Tate who is a 9-year-old black lab.  She and I have traversed the Austin trails and look forward to discovering new ones here in Dallas.  Aside from having two degrees in the exercise-related field, I fell into fitness when I went through a weight loss journey of my own. My appetite for learning all I could was insatiable and soon became infectious to others which sparked my interest in training. I look forward to working with all who set foot inside this building as together we are stronger! 🙂

Fun fact:  I am a leap year baby!  #FOREVERYOUNG.

Fun fact #2:  I am 29 years old and have never left the country besides going to Juarez, Mexico just outside of my hometown of El Paso, Texas.
